i am so happy to hear it was just what she wanted (a little ruffed up and distressed)!!!

i am currently working on a fushia and lime green apple for a teacher friend.

a "little" sneak peek

one of my favorite ladies...asked me to create a 18x18 canvas for her.
she has a special family saying/quote that means a lot and needed it to be showcased on a wall.

i am not completely done yet.

but...here is a "little" sneak peek.

i'll show it ALL off...once it is finished and delivered!

vingate number sign

i was at a local boutique store and spotted these awesome vintage metal number signs....but with red numbers and writing.
i was instantly in love.

so...the crafty girl in me said....
hey...i could create that!

i went home...free handed the number and the word five....
and...
wow. we.
look what i created.

an instant vintage number sign on a canvas custom created for my family picture wall.

a SPECIAL order for a SPECIAL bride to be....

i received a message from a dear friend asking me if i could make a "here comes the bride" sign for her son to carry down the isle on her special day!
most of the signs she had seen were made out of wood and a little too heavy for a wee one to carry.
so i opted for a piece of foam board, a piece of fancy teal paper for the back ground, some black card stock with a little detail design if you look close, and don't forget a little bling and ribbon...and this is what i created!

i heard her son approved and loved it!!!

ideas

have you ever purchased some fabric for bedding or drapes and wanted something that matched?
i have and i know some friends that have as well.
here is a picture of fabric that my friend texted me.

she was decorating her soon to be baby's nursery and using this fabric for the baby bedding.
i had an idea of incorporating the colors from the fabric and patterns to make a custom canvas.

i added a special bible verse....and whoa' la!
 perfect for baby's nursery!

if you have any ideas or would like a custom canvas i am now taking orders.
